Paige Ballagh
EPK
Paige Ballagh is an Ontario-born singer, songwriter, and poet whose music lives where heart, humour, and human connection meet. Rooted in the storytelling traditions of folk and influenced by pop, Paige’s sound blends the warmth of a house concert with a festival stage presence.
Her melodies feel lived-in and familiar, yet distinct in their turns of phrase — carried by a voice that is clear, and expressive. Drawing from her poetry collection Waking Up, her album Shoes Untied, her new EP Oh Maggie, and a growing catalogue of unreleased songs, she writes about coming of age, growing into oneself, and the quiet revolutions that happen in everyday moments.
Over the past decade, Paige has shared her music widely — performing in theatres, concert halls, living rooms, and festival fields across Canada, the U.S., and Ireland. Her performance history stretches from the Kravis Center in Florida to Monroe’s in Galway, to touring the Irish countryside, a collection of States, and Canada’s East and West Coasts. Whether accompanying herself at the piano, leading her sibling folk-pop band The Crew, or weaving in moments of step dance and spoken word, Paige carries a stage presence that is warm, grounded, and magnetic.
Filed comfortably among artists like Sara Bareilles, John Smith, Noah Reid, Rose Betts, and Ken Yates, Paige’s music sits at the intersection of heartfelt storytelling and modern, melodic ease — inviting listeners into something captivating, fun, honest, and deeply human.
Paige’s work has been shaped by a handful of meaningful milestones along the way — named Summerfolk’s Youth Discovery Artist, releasing her poetry collection Waking Up which became Amazon’s #1 best-selling poetry book in 2022, and recording her EP Oh Maggie with Juno Award–winner Jake Charron at SpaceCamp Productions. She also studied songwriting and artist development through Berklee College of Music, deepening her craft in both structure and expression. Her music continues to find its way into the world in multiple forms — from radio play to intimate house concerts, theatre productions, bar stages, and festival sets — reflecting a practice that values connection, versatility, and heart at every scale.
